Optus forgot password

In this article, we’ll be showing you what you can do if you forgot your Optus password. Firstly, if you don’t remember your password at all, we recommend that you get a temporary password by getting in touch with Optus representatives.

When you access the Optus Webmail website, the login page will display. If you can't remember your username, it's generally the primary username of your broadband connection. This information is available on your bill as well as in the My Account section.

1. Log in to Optus Webmail using your existing account and password. If you were given a temporary password, you must use it now.

2. Select the Settings tab from the main menu.

3. Select Change Password.

Secure your password to keep your account safe:

It must have at least eight characters.

At least one capital letter, one lowercase letter, and one number must be included.

     Spaces, non-English (international characters), or the following characters ((| $ & " >; () &) are not permitted.

Do not include your first or last name in the password.

4. Enter your temporary password once, then your new password twice.

5. Don't forget to save your settings.

TIP: Once you've changed your password, you should reset the passwords on all of the devices you used to access Optus Mail.

Please contact our technical support staff if you have any more questions or have any issues. When it comes to dealing with Optus webmail set backs, customer support personnel from the Optus team are both experienced and innovative.
